AI Governance Training

AI governance training equips your teams to use AI safely, responsibly, and within the law. It covers AI usage policies, data classification, tooling working agreements, and Axon’s AI governance framework — the same governance practices we built and stress-tested for 650+ internal engineers.

  • Our EU AI Act compliance training translates the regulation into practical engineering guidance — including risk tiers, documentation duties, and human-oversight requirements. It complements the governance controls used in live AI-augmented delivery, so policy and engineering practice stay aligned.
  • AI literacy training: Not everyone needs to write code with AI — but everyone needs to understand it. AI literacy training gives non-engineering staff a working mental model of what generative AI can and cannot do, where the risks sit, and how to use it responsibly. It’s the common first step before deeper enablement.

AI Engineering Enablement

AI engineering enablement is where Agile discipline meets AI tooling. This program helps squads move from unstructured AI experimentation to disciplined, spec-driven AI-assisted development — built from 18 months of internal delivery data across 14 squads, with a 14-session curriculum mapped to eight engineering roles: Developer, QA, Architect, DevOps, Product Owner, ICT, UX, and Squad Lead.

Practical squad workshops cover Claude Code and GitHub Copilot in real codebases, context engineering, and AI working agreements. Our enterprise Copilot training meets teams already standardized on GitHub Copilot, while AI adoption training handles the change-management side. Everything is measured — cycle time, PR review time, and defect density before and after.

Spec-Driven Development

Every prompt is a fresh attempt to describe the goal — without a written spec, context decays across a session. Senior engineers who get the most from AI write better specs, not better prompts. We build this discipline across squads: define before you generate. Six-section specs (Purpose, Scenarios, Requirements, Constraints, Success criteria, Open questions) that become the agent’s memory.

Re-assessed every 3 months. Wave-based rollout covering individual contributors, squad leads, and leadership; results feed a skills dashboard and a squad-level learning roadmap.

HOW WE START

How an Agile engagement starts

Every engagement with our Agile coaching services follows the same three steps — whether it’s a one-day workshop or a 12-month transformation.

Our coaching method is grounded in Sharon L. Bowman’s Training from the BACK of the Room! — n accelerated-learning approach built around active, contextual learning. Learners retain more when they actively practice rather than passively listen.

Bowman’s method emphasizes active participation, contextual practice, and shorter learning cycles. We apply those principles through hands-on workshops and coaching in the real work of the team.

We apply the same logic to coaching. We don’t just run workshops about Agile or AI. We observe the real work — the standup, backlog, team conversations, and how engineers use AI in practice. We intervene on the specific behaviors and problems that appear in context.

Then we intervene — specifically, in the moment, on the real problem. Not on a hypothetical in a workshop room. Behaviour shifts when it’s observed and corrected in context, with real consequences, by someone the team trusts. That is the only mechanism that produces lasting change.

What are Agile coaching services, and how do they differ from Agile workshops?

Agile coaching services embed a coach in your team’s real work — standups, refinement, sprint planning — over weeks or months. Workshops teach concepts in a classroom; coaching turns them into lasting behavior change in context. We run both, and they compound: workshops build shared vocabulary, embedded coaching makes it stick. Every Axon coach still works in production teams.

Do you provide an enterprise Agile coach for large, multi-team organizations?

Yes. An enterprise Agile coach works above team level — coordinating multi-team rollouts with the Axon Model™, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or LeSS, and coaching leadership on portfolio-level agility. It’s our scaled Agile coaching track, and it draws on first-hand experience running 80+ distributed production teams.

What is AI engineering enablement, and who is it for?

Do you train on specific AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code?

It depends on your situation, existing tooling, and customer requirements. We don’t impose a specific tool — our focus is on the principles: spec-driven development, context engineering, governance, and responsible AI use. Where there are no specific requirements, Claude Code is our current default for technical AI coaching. If your team already uses GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or another tool, we work with that.

In which languages do you deliver coaching and training?

We deliver in German, English, and Vietnamese. For Swiss and European clients this means your Product Owners and stakeholders can be coached in German while your Vietnamese engineering team is coached in Vietnamese or English — in the same engagement, with no translation gap.
